Infant Care Program,
Semi-private on-site
Nanny Care
Our
program
is
different
than
typically
found
in
the
industry.
It
is
designed
around
the
concept
of
providing
an
on-site
semi-
private
nanny
care
model.
What
does
this
mean?
Well
we
know
what
nannies
are?
Someone
caring
for
your
child
at
your
home.
You
pay
a
pretty
significant
amount
of
money
to
this
professional
person
and
deal
with
all
the
issues
of
having
a
household
employee
and
all
the
tax
consequences
involved
with
it,
in
addition
to
the
issues
encountered
when
the
nanny
is
not available to care for the child, most of the time with little to no notice in advance.
Our
program
is
different
in
just
a
few
ways,
all
to
better
benefit
parents.
We
have
our
own
nanny
on
our
staff.
We
assign
the
nanny
to
care
for
2
infants,
so
we
can
mitigate
the
higher
costs
associated
with
a
nanny
and
spread
those
costs
accross
two
families.
We
have
the
staff
person
on
our
payroll
system.
We
have
scheduled
vacation
times,
sick
days,
etc…
and
most
of
all,
the
ability
to
have
other
staff
available
if
the
caregiver
is
unable
to
provide
care.
Most
importantly,
we
host
it
all
in
our
space.
What
does
this
offer?
Our
own
on-site
playground
and
dedicated
outdoor
space.
All
is
safe
and
secure.
No
leaving
the
property
to
go
to
a
public
park.
What
else
do
you
get…
direct
access
to
our
toddler
and
preschool
programs
at
Colorful
Sunburst.
No
competing
with
other
parents
to
get
into
daycare
and
preschool
as
Infants
in
our
program
receive
first
priority
in
enrollment
to
our
other
programs
as
the
children
age
up.
If
you
have
additional
children,
they
will
have
first
priority
to
enrollment
as
well,
when
seats
or
cribs
become
available
over
other
parents
waiting
for
enrollment
on
our
wait
list.
All
that
is
required
from
you
is
to dropoff and pickup your infant.
Our
goal
is
to
make
babies
feel
safe,
secure
and
happy
in
our
dedicated
infant
room.
Our
infant
program
is
also
designed
to
achieve
the
sames
results
above
for
our
new
moms
and
dads.
Your
child
will
be
placed
in
a
nurturing
environment
filled
with
stimulating
activities
and
caring
staff
dedicated
to
their
specific
needs.
As
the
infants
mature,
they
are
introduced
to
other
infants
in
the
program
and
begin
the
socialization
training,
physical
training
(tummy
time,
etc…)and
early
childcare
education
experience
for
infants.
Once
infants
reach
12
months
or
so
(once
they
are
steadily
walking),
they
are
introduced
to
the
older
toddlers
and
preschoolers
for
expanded
socialization
and
exposure
to
the
world
as
we
know
it
for
brief
periods
of
time.
Then
the
exposure
increases
over
time
as
the
children
mature,
until
they
are
old
enough
to
enroll
into
the
toddler
program
beginning
at age two, per NY State childcare regulations.
Our Programs
Toddler Program
The
toddler
program
leverages
our
Art
and
Natural
Sciences
programs,
as
well
as
our
physical
activities
to
develop
both
fine
and
gross
motor
skills
as
well
as
socialization
skills
on
interaction
with
others
and
working
within
a
group
to
produce
some
outcome.
Our
toddlers
can
be
grouped
into
mixed
ages
from
18
months
to
36
months.
Older
toddlers
can
be
introduced
to
preschool
activities as they demonstrate the ability to participate.
Preschool Program
We
offer
a
unique
program
based
on
multiple
methodologies.
The
Russian
early
child
hood
program
and
Montessori.
We
have
chosen
the
best
of
these
offerings
and
combined
them
with
our
belief
that
children
under
7
years
of
age
need
an
environment
that
focuses
on
their
development
in
social
abilities
to
interact
with
the
world
around
them;
to
appreciate
the
ability
to
learn
and
focus
on
the
things
that
interest
them
and
expand
that
knowledge
in
a
natural
way;
and
to
experience
all
these
things
in
a
beautiful
and
natural
space,
more
like
home
and
less
like
the
typical
cookie
cutter
classroom.
Each
month,
we
introduce
topics
around
a
general
theme
and
expand
from
there
based
on
the
reaction
of
the
children
to
it.
All
our
children
meet
or
exceed
the
requirements
for
entry
in
the
kindergarten
programs
of
the
communities
we
serve.
It
is
typical
for
our
children
to
begin
reading
in
the
4th
year
as
well
as
play
games
of
strategy
like
chess,
checkers
and
backgammon.
Come
here
and
ask
our
4
and
5
year
olds
about
the
solar
system
or
the
human
body
and
you
will
get
a
response
about
the
planets
or
the
large
intestines
and
what
they do!
